LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients and assisting in the operating room. This position requires good interpersonal skills in relating to co-workers, doctors, staff and clients. Strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask with ease, the ability to maintain a positive demeanor and efficiency under pressure, and the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision are critical for success in this position. Candidates for this position must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand and/or walk for a 8 or 10-hour shift.

Veterinary Assistants
Responsible for taking care of all pets in our hospital and assisting the doctors! Dogs are walked, cleaned, fed, & treated with any meds needed.  Cats cages are cleaned,  they are fed & medicated as needed.  Laundry, kennel cleaning, pet bathing, waste pick up, & additional maintenance/cleaning duties are also required.  Good customer service skills and the ability to converse with clients upon check in & discharge for pets belongings & well being are required. Candidates for this position must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand and/or walk for a 8 or 10-hour shift.
